Jamaican Jerk Seasoning Hot
The most traditional Jamaican dish is jerk, made with a blend of scallion, hot peppers, thyme, garlic, pimento (allspice) and other natural ingredients. Jerk is used to flavour meats and fish, followed by cooking over a slow burning BBQ or baking in the oven. For best results, marinate meats in jerk seasoning for at least ½ an hour before cooking.
